Quintessentially Me.

I’m almost there. A few more tweaks and I’m in. This is very exciting and took longer than expected. But I suppose that’s what happens when you try and be technically savvy at my age. Generation X, I just learned, but that’s fine by me. I remember smoking in airplanes and travelling with nail scissors and bottles of body lotion in my hand luggage. Cars without seatbelts in the backseats and no annoying sound alerts at the front. Telephones plugged into sockets in the wall and if you didn’t reach anybody, you simply tried again later. The first computer operating system I knew was MS Dos and my first internet browser was Netscape on an analog telephone line that ran through the same number as my phone and fax machine. My TV had five channels. Maybe eight or eventually nine but no more than the buttons on my remote control. And I had MTV. I loved MTV. “Thriller” completely changed the art of music-videomaking and that was just the beginning. Like MySpace. Before TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram and even before Facebook we had MySpace! This too, is my space. My blog, and that’s kind of timeless.
